Question, Update, Eww...

Ugh. Yesterday went well until dinner time... When my mother decided to make fried chicken and insist that i eat some. Bloody hell! I can't eat fried chicken while on the ABC! I managed to keep my total calorie count around 1200 for the day, but that's so not good enough. I did start the running program though, so as of today, i'm on day 2 of running, but ABC... i'm just not sure. Maybe i'll start off slow and reach for 1000 calories a day. What do you all think?

  1. i think that 1000 cals sounds great! honestly, you just need to do what is practical for your lifestyle and with your mom trying to shove fried meat down your throat there is just no way you could do the abc completely. this way,you can work family dinners into the days intake and this will probably be loads better for your metabolism.im thinking of doing something similar since the abc isnt exactly practical for me either right now with C trying force feed me every other day lol.
your going to be skinny in no time!
im glad to hear your running program is going so good, youll have to show us pics of your awesomely toned legs after a few weeks on it :P

  3. tbh i rekon abc is a waste of time and energy, its just inevatibly going to end up in bindges.
Eating low cal foods, and exercise really is the best way :) x

  4. i tried the abc and its impossible to stick with just ends up in binges! try to keep to like 300-500 a day cos then its still really low intake but cos its higher then abc allows you your less likely to binge
    hope this helps :)

  5. Oh, how I've missed your blog! I haven't been able to read it for a while but I'm glad I can finally catch up!

I hate how mothers always end up ruining the ABC! My advice? Adapt it. Maybe you can go for 1000 calories a day when your mom is home and then on another day when she is out go for 500 calories.

    Best of luck!! xx

  6. It's better to stay under 1000 and feel like you did something, then to keep failing at abc. The running will help with cutting down the calories even further too!

  8. fried has got to be my least favourite word

listen to your body that generally works for me when im trying to sort out a bad binge period ideally its best to reduce calories slower rather than shocking your body with a low number then the next day binging and a high number then a low number etc this is what makes it ill quicker

  9. I think you should gradually lower your caloric intake, that way you aren't shocking your system so much. Also then you won't as suseptible to binges.

  10. I think starting slow and reaching for 1000 a day is really good. That way it will be easier to stay low and then slowly go lower. You'll probably be much more successful that way than abcs since you live at home and all.
Great job with the running! :D I wish I wasn't so lazy and had the determination to run ; )
    Stay strong darling <3

  13. I agree with strawberry shortcake. ABC is obviously not the right program for you. Try to find something else.

  14. I have been wanting to lose about 40 lbs for a year now and I have been going to the "Healthy Diet" type sites, you know--the ones that you don't lose any weight doing. I have been limiting my calories to 1200 a day but the scale doesn't move. I want to limit myself to much less to see results, but I get very VERY faint and shaky when I don't eat. Any tips to combat this?

  15. I just stumbled across your blog. You do know that eating disorders aren't discerning as to whom they kill? Last year I should have died from anorexia - and you need to be aware - just like all your readers do - that anorexia can do this.

I'm probably wasting my breath. You're set. But for your own sake - google hyponatremia and hypokalemia. Because they're terrifying ways to die.

You don't have to harm yourself to look good or be healthy.
