Stop The Madness

Those who've never experienced it have no idea what it's like: the insatiable hunger...for starvation. The real issue isn't the emptiness you feel; it's that until you figure out that it's hunger you're hungry for, you'll eat everything else that dares to cross your path.
I don't think my body understands food in moderation. It's all or nothing. take one bite, and it goes crazy. "Oh food! Oh carbs! Oh sweets! Let's shovel my face full of them until i look like a balloon." And i DO look like a balloon. I bloat up and get this big binge belly. My arms and legs are always fat, but when i eat, my stomach, the only part of me that is relatively ok-sized, bloats up and gets fat too. My stomach hurts... I can't stop running to the bathroom...
There's only one answer: i must stop eating!

  1. ^^^ Ditto. On every front.

    Very well said. So true.

We can do this...The hunger for hunger is easily enough sated...as long as we're willing to strive for it...and starve for it.

  2. I usually manage to stop myself from bingeing a ton- you know, you hear about like, 1000 calories binges! I never do that, I just make a few bad decisions throughout the day (bag of chips here, 200 caloires....candy bar here....150 calories) and it ruins the day! And doesnt it feel like once you've already messed up, you might as well *really* mess up??

  3. I know what you mean about moderation, when i had to reteach myself how to get i was a mess. I still am, im only just learning that i dont have to eat everything thats infront of me. But i read this book called a million little peices and one part really spoke to me. Each time you want to eat more, each time u feel like you need, must have, want!!! its a little test. Its very insignificant but if you can win, if u can beat this test than you're one step closer to achieving what you really want! try it...it works for me! Good luck x

  5. You can't stop eating. If you do, you'll starve do death and you know that. You can only try to eat little, but it's just logical that you "binge". Your body needs food, it's perfectly normal. You will never be able to avoid food.

  6. Oh my god, I am having the same problem today! Binge Bloat! I ate dinner last night and decided not to purge, and good lord am I regretting it. It is sitting like a BRICK in my intestines, refusing to move. Not pooping for three days is fine when I'm empty, but now I shoved all this food in there...and it is disgusting. I took a couple laxitives, but I'm trying not to get into abusing them.

And they wonder why we want to stop eating?

Feel better. Try filling up on lots of fluids today...might help.

  9. I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN! To be honest, its been hell since I left. The numbers on the scale haven't moved much, but I can see the fat. I can see how much I've gained. I want it back. I want that hunger, fatigue, pain, dark circles under my eyes, movement by shear willpower. I miss ana so much it hurts!

  11. Totally nailed it. hunger for starvation. its a silent struggle, people begin to praise you for your progress, and then they start to scold you

    "you need to eat"

    leave me alone everyone

  12. "My body doesn't understand moderation."

Yes it does. You are NOT eating and it needs to make up for the calories that you're not giving it. Binging doesn't happen when you eat in proper moderation. Binges will happen when ANYONE's body goes into starvation mode.
