If She's Gonna Kill Me, She'd Better Make Me Skinny First

I think i might have to lay off the diet pills for a while. My heart's been racing for no reason, and whenever i run or do anything like that i get tired really quickly. I know that diet pills are infamous for messing with your heart, so it's kinda freaking me out. I mean really freaking me out, like to the point of writing up a list of my last wishes and putting it somewhere where it could be easily found if i don't live. I'm not afraid to die, really, i'm just afraid of leaving the people i love behind, especially you all. Also, if i'm gonna die because of my ED, i want to at least be skinny. Seriously, if i'm going to be a corpse, and people are gonna look at me lying in the casket at my viewing, i want them to think "oh wow, she does look really thin. Why didn't we notice before?" I totally don't want them to notice before because there's no way in hell that i want to go into recovery, but yeah... Anyway, oppinnions? Do you all think i should ditch the pills or just stick with them. Cuz really, who knows if it's them or just stress or something...

  1. how many diet pills are you taking?? i took 3 in the morning when i took them, so i would burn cals sitting down all day at school. you shouldn't be exercising when you're on pills... bad idea. yeah, i'd lay off them for a while. give your body a week to detox, then start up again. don't take as many, and don't do any aerobic activity while you're on them.

  2. I think I accidentally clicked off the screen before leaving the comment but if I've already left this then sorry... I don't believe in taking diet pills AT ALL. Especially if they're making you feel bad. Stop taking them for a while and see if your heart still keeps racing because if it does then you'd know it might not be them. IDK I just don't think diet pills are worth the risk.

  3. i get the heart racing thing too, but mine is from caffein cause i dont have access to diet pills :(
    anyway, i do think you should take a break for a couple of days if its that bad. try to eat more protein, to strengthen the heart muscle. i eat a shitload of Quorn, found at Whole Foods, which is 80 cals for a whole cup, and like 25 g of protein. i ate that and frozen grapes for like two weeks, didn't gain any weight, and strengthened my heart by 5%. i feel the same way about dying - i wouldn't miss life - but i would miss you if you died on me, so don't, k?

  4. lay off the pills for a while sweetie. there really is no good being skinny if you are dead (or hospitalized)i dont do pills. i drink these lovely enegrgy drinks that burn calories and lots of green tea. a lot of ppl have problems with diet pills- see if you can find a better alternative. stay strong hun <3

  7. stop the pills. id give your heart AT LEAST a month or too to repair itself. i know it will be harder to lose weight without them but id rather you be in a plateau than die .i agree with snowflakesfallgently about working out while on them too, if you cant wait a month then at least save them for school or when you want to relax.please please be careful.hang in there and stay strong
    just try to relax while your off the diet pills to rest your heart.

  8. Get off the pills. They fuck you up. What's the point of fasting and working hard if you die? Those pills don't even work, usually too. Do Ana the old fashion way. Starving and restricting. You can't go wrong with that.

    They're not worth it.
    God, they're not worth it! I've had so much shit happen with them. THey'll damage your heart and screw up your kidneys and so much other shit.
    They don't even WORK that well. 5 hour energy drinks before you go working out will help better (sip a little bit of them, not the full half or even full bottle. Start slow or your heart gets really zonky), and green tea helps you lose weight faster than almost any diet pill.

    Those things are so bad for you and so dangerous.

  10. ditch the pills sweetie. Green tea is good for weight loss and makes you feel so good. i even eat less when i have a mug of tea next to me all day long.
